The initial consultation is perfectly designed to explore your needs and agree a personalised treatment plan
Your initial 45 minute consultation can be conducted in person at our clinic in Cardiff or via telephone or video link. The initial consultation is designed to explore your needs and medical history and agree a personal treatment plan, advising you on HRT, non-hormonal treatments or lifestyle changes as appropriate.
Prior to your initial consultation you will be required to complete a medical history form and symptom questionnaire. After the consultation a detailed letter will be emailed to you and, with your permission, to your GP.
If you have a query between appointments that can’t be handled easily by email you may be advised that a short telephone appointment is required, the fee for this is £60,
Cancellations will be fully refunded if at least 48 hours notice during the working week is given. After this time it will be difficult for us to fill your appointment time so a refund will not be possible.
You will receive a confirmation email after booking your consultation. Please check your junk folder if you can’t find it.

How do I book a consultation?

Do I need a referral letter from my GP?
You do not need a GP or another doctor’s referral letter to book a consultation. The majority of women self-refer and do not need a letter.
If you have any blood test results or letters from previous relevant medical consultations, then it is useful to bring copies of these with you when you attend for your appointment or email ahead of your appointment.
Can I have a telephone or video consultation?
Yes, you can choose a telephone, video or face to face consultation. Our face to face consultations take place at the Cathedral Road clinic. Telephone and video consultations are charged at the same price as face-to-face consultations.
